Steel Ball Run: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure faces controversy over new ending theme

The anime adaptation of ‘Steel Ball Run: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure’ has released previews for its second episode, titled ‘The Sheriff’s Request to Mountain Tim’. The new installment introduces the character Mountain Tim and follows Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli as they navigate a mysterious murder case during the transcontinental race.

However, the series is facing controversy regarding its new ending theme, ‘Shinukaikiruka’. While the song was written by Japanese rapper Yuki Chiba, the music was composed and produced by Lukasz Gottwald, known as Dr. Luke. Fans have expressed dissatisfaction with the musical direction, noting it deviates from the franchise’s tradition of using established Western pop songs. Additionally, some viewers are calling for the song to be replaced due to the producer’s past legal controversies involving allegations of misconduct.
