Steel Panther to release new album in spring 2027

Steel Panther vocalist Michael Starr has confirmed that the band's upcoming studio album is scheduled for release in spring 2027. During an interview on The Mighty VH podcast, Starr stated that the album is already mastered and all songs are completed, with the band currently working on the cover art.

The group plans to begin releasing singles in February 2027, followed by a tour. This project follows the band's recording sessions at Dave Grohl's Studio 606 with longtime producer Jay Ruston.

This will be the band's first full studio album since 'On The Prowl', released in February 2023. In May 2026, the group released 'The Mother’s Day Song' via Frontiers Music Srl, which served as their first original single in three years.
