Steelcase appoints Irene Tasi as president

Steelcase has announced the appointment of Irene Tasi as its new president, effective September 14, 2026. Tasi will lead the business with a focus on design leadership, distributor networks, and customer-centric strategies.

Tasi brings over 25 years of executive leadership experience, including expertise in profit and loss (P&L) management, business strategy, innovation, and sales leadership. She will report to Jeff Lorenger, the Chairman, President, and CEO of HNI Corporation.

Prior to joining Steelcase, Tasi held senior leadership roles at PPG Industries, including Chief Growth Officer and Senior Vice President of Global Industrial Coatings. She also spent over 20 years at Masco Corporation in various leadership positions.
