Steelers rookie wide receiver Germie Bernard excluded from Aaron Rodgers' summer bonding trip
Aaron Rodgers held his annual summer bonding trip with selected Steelers teammates, inviting players such as DK Metcalf, Michael Pittman Jr., Pat Freiermuth, Roman Wilson, Ben Skowronek and Mason Rudolph. Rookie wide receiver Germie Bernard, drafted in the second round, was not among those invited, highlighting the ongoing process of building rapport with the veteran quarterback.
At the same time, fellow wide receiver Roman Wilson is entering training camp aiming for a breakout season. Wilson will compete with Bernard for the No. 3 spot on the depth chart, seeking to become a reliable weapon in Pittsburgh's revamped offense as the team adds depth across its receiving corps.
