SteelSeries launches Aeon Pro wireless controller for Xbox and PC

SteelSeries has launched the Aeon Pro, a premium wireless controller designed for seamless use between Xbox and PC. The device features a patent-pending QuickSwitch Dock System that allows users to switch between platforms without the need for manual re-pairing or cables.

To address battery concerns, the controller utilizes an ‘Infinite Power System’ consisting of two hot-swappable batteries. While one powers the controller, the second charges in the dock, providing up to 25 hours of playtime via 2.4 GHz wireless or 28 hours via Bluetooth.

Technical specifications include Hall Effect thumbsticks and triggers to prevent stick drift, 18 mechanical switches for tactile feedback, and an integrated OLED screen for managing profiles and device selection. The controller also offers a Modular Stick System with three interchangeable shapes, four remappable rear paddles, and adjustable trigger stops. The Aeon Pro is priced at $259.99 / €259.99 and is available in black and white.
