SteelSeries launches Sensei Pro and Rival Pro wireless gaming mice

SteelSeries has launched its new Sensei Pro and Rival Pro wireless gaming mouse series to mark the company's 25th anniversary. The new lineup introduces Ultra-Wideband (UWB) wireless technology, which utilizes a wider frequency spectrum than traditional 2.4 GHz connections to reduce signal interference and latency in environments crowded with wireless devices.

The Pro series features a True 8K polling rate, capable of reporting position data 8,000 times per second. Equipped with the TrueMove 42K optical sensor and optical switches rated for 100 million clicks, the mice are designed for high-performance competitive gaming. To manage the high power demands of 8K mode, SteelSeries implemented an “Infinite Power System” featuring dual hot-swappable batteries. This allows players to use one battery while the other charges, ensuring uninterrupted gameplay.

The series includes both symmetrical (Sensei) and ergonomic (Rival) designs, available in full-size and Mini versions. The full-size models weigh 53g, while the Mini versions weigh 49g. Battery life reaches up to 32 hours in 8K mode and up to 120 hours in 1K mode. Users can customize settings via the SteelSeries GG software.
