Stefan Jauk designated as successor for Raiffeisen-Holding NÖ-Wien leadership
The Raiffeisen-Holding NÖ-Wien has designated Stefan Jauk as the successor to current chairman Erwin Hameseder. Jauk, who currently serves as the Director General of Niederösterreichische Versicherung, has been named the preferred candidate for the roles of chairman of the Raiffeisen-Holding NÖ-Wien and chairman of the supervisory board of Raiffeisenlandesbank Niederösterreich-Wien AG.
The transition is planned to take place in May 2027, subject to approval from the relevant bodies. As an initial step, Jauk has been nominated as a member of the supervisory board of Raiffeisenlandesbank Niederösterreich-Wien AG and as deputy chairman of the Raiffeisen-Holding NÖ-Wien, with elections scheduled for September 9, 2026.
Erwin Hameseder noted that these decisions do not currently affect his other mandates, including his chairmanship of the supervisory board at Raiffeisen Bank International. Jauk will continue his current role at Niederösterreichische Versicherung until the planned takeover in 2027, while preparations for his successor at the insurance firm are underway.
