Stefan Joksimovic emerges as top NBA draft prospect at Baskonia

Slovenian basketball player Stefan Joksimovic is drawing significant attention as a potential top NBA draft pick for 2027. Currently playing for Baskonia, the 17-year-old has demonstrated high-level performance in both the Liga Endesa and the EuroLeague.

In a recent ACB game against Manresa, Joksimovic recorded 15 points, six rebounds, and three assists with a 20 efficiency rating. This performance places him among a select group of teenage talents in ACB history, joining names such as Ricky Rubio and Luka Doncic.

Joksimovic, who stands 2.01 meters tall, has also seen success on the international stage. He was named MVP of the 2026 Eurobasket U18 tournament and was selected as the MVP at the Adidas Eurocamp in Treviso. While experts highlight his ability to penetrate defenses and his court vision, analysts note that his defensive play and exterior shooting remain areas for development.
