Stefan Küng returns to winning form ahead of Vuelta a España

Swiss cyclist Stefan Küng has returned to competitive success following a severe femur fracture sustained in February at the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad. After a lengthy rehabilitation process, Küng secured his first victory since the 2024 Vuelta in an individual time trial during the 7th stage of the Tour de Pologne.

Küng, now riding for the Tudor Pro Cycling Team, expressed significant relief and satisfaction regarding his recovery. He noted that the injury led to doubts about his ability to return to the highest level of competition, especially given his age. He is now preparing to compete in the Vuelta a España, where he previously won the final time trial in Madrid.
