Stefan Lang appointed head of Hilpoltstein Police Inspection

Stefan Lang has taken over as the new head of the Hilpoltstein Police Inspection, effective October 1, 2026. He succeeds Michael Schimek, who led the station for approximately one year as part of a leadership probationary period.

Lang, 53, began his police career in 1992 in Würzburg. His extensive experience includes nine years in patrol service at the Nuremberg-Mitte Police Inspection, various roles in protective police and staff work, and serving as a group leader in Altdorf. Most recently, he served as the deputy head of the Heilsbronn Police Inspection since 2020.

Police President Gernot Rochholz expressed confidence in Lang’s ability to lead, citing his diverse background and long-standing experience. During the transition, Stefan Goldmann was also appointed as the new deputy head of the station.
