Stefan Milićević banned 24 years for match-fixing

The International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) has issued a 24-year suspension to Serbian tennis player Stefan Milićević for severe anti-corruption rule violations. The ban, which remains in effect until October 8, 2050, also includes a $70,000 fine.

Investigations revealed that between 2022 and 2024, Milićević manipulated six matches, participating in five of them, and attempted to fix an additional six. Furthermore, he was found to have recruited or attempted to recruit other professional players into a corrupt network, leading to further match-fixing incidents.

Milićević, 29, reached a career-high ATP singles ranking of 1,338 in 2014. During the investigation, he reportedly failed to cooperate with the ITIA despite seven attempts to contact him. Under the terms of the suspension, he is prohibited from playing, coaching, or attending any events organized or sanctioned by the ATP, WTA, Grand Slams, or national tennis associations.
