Serbia Ministry of Defense terminates cooperation with RTS

The Serbian Ministry of Defense has announced the termination of its cooperation agreement with Radio Television Serbia (RTS) regarding the joint production of the series “Dozvolite...”. The decision follows reported failures by RTS to fulfill obligations outlined in the cooperation protocol.

The Ministry stated that it had repeatedly notified RTS of deviations from agreed terms in an attempt to resolve the issues. Despite months of efforts to restore the contractual relationship, no progress was made. Consequently, the Ministry has withdrawn consent for RTS to film new episodes or use the logos and emblems of the Ministry of Defense or the Serbian Armed Forces for this project.

The partnership, which involved the Military Film Center “Zastava Film,” will officially conclude on November 5, 2026. The Ministry of Defense and the Serbian Armed Forces have distanced themselves from any episodes not broadcast prior to that date.
