Stefan Savić Memorial MMA tournament held in Belgrade

The third annual Stefan Savić Memorial MMA tournament, titled ‘Belgrade Winner,’ was held at the Ranko Žeravica Sports Hall in Belgrade. The international event honored the memory of Stefan Savić, a Serbian national team MMA fighter and world bronze medalist who was tragically killed in February 2024.

The tournament saw significant participation, with 235 participants registered and 209 fighters competing throughout the day. The event drew competitors from Serbia and various other European countries, serving as a platform to promote fair play and support young regional talent.

The ceremony included an emotional tribute from rapper Smoke Mardeljano, who opened the event with the song ‘Mi smo Savke,’ dedicated to his friend Savić. Savić’s family and his coach, Borislav Ćosić, were also in attendance to honor his legacy.
