Stefania Giacomini releases new thriller addressing human trafficking

Author and journalist Stefania Giacomini has released her new book, ‘Saldo Finale’, the second installment in a thriller saga following her award-winning work ‘Shopping pericoloso’. The novel explores the psychological impact of kidnapping and the complexities of human trafficking.

The narrative moves through various locations, including Milan, Paris, Miami, and Rome, using elements of art and fashion to contrast with the dangers of trafficking networks that operate both physically and online. Giacomini stated that the book aims to foster awareness and culture to help combat the reality of human trafficking, which often exploits refugees fleeing war and famine.

The book will be presented in Rome at the Circolo Canottieri Lazio. The event will feature speakers including Antonella Sberna, Vice President of the European Parliament, and Lella Golfo, President of the Bellisario Foundation.
