Stefania Ring named Marine Rescue NSW Officer of the Year

Volunteer Stefania Ring of Marine Rescue Jervis Bay was awarded Officer of the Year at the Rotary Districts of NSW Emergency Services Community Awards on 25 July 2026. The recognition highlighted her leadership as the first female and youngest unit commander of Marine Rescue Jervis Bay, a role she held from 2024 to 2026, while balancing full‑time work and new motherhood.

Marine Rescue NSW Commissioner Todd Andrews praised Ring’s commitment to keeping boaters safe and supporting volunteers across the organization. Ring was honoured alongside fellow volunteers Robert "Bob" Ainsworth and Steve Clifford, and youth scholarship finalist Keseah Bell.
