Stefano Cau wins Audience Award at Visioni Sarde in Escovedu

Stefano Cau’s short film, ‘Vida e morti di unu maragotti’, won the Audience Award at the Visioni Sarde film festival in Escovedu. The film secured approximately half of the total votes cast by spectators during the event held on September 24.

Other films recognized during the screening included ‘True Love Waits’ by Simone Cicalò, which took second place, and ‘Ajò West’ by Sara Corbioli and ‘Una faccia da cinema’ by Alberto Salvucci, which tied for third.

The Visioni Sarde project, directed by the Cineteca di Bologna, aims to bring young Sardinian cinema to smaller, decentralized locations across the island. The event in Escovedu was organized by the Usellus municipal library in collaboration with the Escovedu in Movimento Cultural Association.
