Stefano De Martino begins Sanremo preparations in Los Angeles

Stefano De Martino has begun preparations for his role as the artistic director and host of the 77th Sanremo Music Festival. Currently in Los Angeles, De Martino is working in a recording studio alongside musical consultant Fabrizio Ferraguzzo, a prominent figure in the Italian music industry known for his work with Måneskin.

The duo is reportedly focusing on the overall musical construction of the event, which is scheduled to take place from February 16 to 20, 2027. De Martino’s choice of Los Angeles is intended to provide distance from external pressures while allowing him to concentrate on the festival's musical direction.

This appointment follows a successful television season for De Martino, including his work on ‘Affari Tuoi’. Rai’s Prime Time Entertainment Director, Williams Di Liberatore, noted that De Martino was selected for his versatility and experience, aiming to provide continuity for the national broadcaster.
