Stefano De Martino mulls Belen Rodriguez cameo for Sanremo 2027

Stefano De Martino, the new artistic director and host of the Sanremo Music Festival 2027, is reportedly considering inviting his ex‑wife, Argentine TV personality Belen Rodriguez, for a brief stage appearance. The rumor, first published by the Italian weekly Gente and echoed by other outlets, describes the potential cameo as a short “special role” similar to past guest spots, meant to draw media attention.

Later reports have contradicted the initial speculation, with some sources stating that Belen will not appear and that the focus will instead be on other acts such as Herbert Ballerina. De Martino is also preparing the festival’s program, reviewing over 500 song submissions and working with music director Fabrizio Ferraguzzo. Plans for a revamped Eurovision‑type segment have been hinted at, though nothing is confirmed. The festival is scheduled to run from 16 to 20 February 2027.
