Stefano Domenicali leaves door open for Dutch GP return

Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali has expressed praise for the organization of the Dutch Grand Prix at Circuit Zandvoort, even as the event is set to leave the F1 calendar for the time being. Following six editions, the contract has expired, largely due to the business risks associated with the race being one of the few circuits that operates without government support.

Domenicali commended the organizers for managing a successful event despite the narrow and tight constraints of the circuit compared to other global venues. He noted that the energy, music, and positivity of the event served as an example for other locations on the F1 calendar. While the race is currently departing the schedule, Domenicali stated that the door is not completely closed to a future return, noting, “You never know what happens in the future.”
