Milani was noted for his transparency regarding his health, including discussing treatments and physical complications. He often used the phrase ‘always fighting to live even just one more day’ to express his determination. In February 2024, he fulfilled a lifelong dream by visiting Milanello, an experience facilitated by Stefano Pioli.
