Stefano Zarrella pauses charity run due to knee injury
Food influencer Stefano Zarrella has been forced to temporarily halt his ‘Run to Rome’ charity walk after completing approximately 300 kilometers. The trek, which aims to cover 1,000 kilometers from southern Germany to Rome, was interrupted due to severe knee pain.
Zarrella reported on Instagram that he is suffering from tendon overload, stating, ‘My knee hurt so much that I could no longer continue running.’ The 35-year-old shared emotional footage of himself struggling with the physical toll of the journey, emphasizing his desire to be transparent with followers about the setbacks rather than only showing positive moments.
Following a planned two-day rest period, Zarrella intends to resume the remaining 700 kilometers. The project is designed to inspire others to overcome personal limits and believe in themselves through preparation and endurance.
