Stefanos Kouparakis issues legal notice to Achilleas Beos

Stefanos Kouparakis, a VAR official involved in the OFI vs. Volos match, has issued a legal notice to Achilleas Beos, the Mayor of Volos and a prominent figure in Volos FC.

The legal action follows a social media post by Beos, in which he criticized the officiating of the match and referred to Kouparakis as a ‘tool of the system’ (εργαλείο του συστήματος) following a controversial penalty decision.

Kouparakis has demanded that Beos retract the statement and issue a correction within 24 hours. Failure to comply will result in legal proceedings in civil court to seek financial compensation.
