Stefanos Ntouskos advances to quarterfinals at World Rowing Championships

The World Rowing Championships have commenced in Amsterdam, Netherlands, featuring a 12-athlete Greek delegation. Leading the Greek squad is Olympic champion and defending world champion Stefanos Ntouskos, who is competing in the highly competitive men's single sculls.

Ntouskos has made a strong start in his bid to defend his title, finishing first in his fifth qualifying heat with a time of 7:28.84. This performance secured his comfortable advancement to the quarterfinals. His next challenge is scheduled for Friday, August 28, where he will compete for a spot in the semifinals.

Other Greek athletes are also participating in the championships, including Petros Gaidatzis, who is scheduled to compete in the lightweight single sculls semifinals.
