Stefanos Ntouskos to compete in inaugural Shanghai Sprints

Greek Olympic gold medalist and 2025 world champion Stefanos Ntouskos will conclude his competitive season at the inaugural World Rowing Shanghai Sprints in China on September 26 and 27.

Ntouskos will compete in two categories: the men's single sculls and the mixed double sculls. In the latter, he will partner with Lithuanian Olympian Victoria Senkute as part of the ‘World Team’. This unique group is composed of athletes from various nations, including Greece, Lithuania, New Zealand, France, Serbia, Switzerland, and China, allowing for international pairings that do not typically compete together.

The Shanghai Sprints feature a non-traditional format, with 500-meter races held on a course in the center of Shanghai using a knockout system. The event will include 88 athletes representing eight groups, including national teams from the USA, Great Britain, Germany, Romania, China, the Netherlands, and Ireland.
