Tsitsipas revealed that he spent the last eight to ten months experimenting with different racquet frames and equipment, a significant departure from his previously superstitious and rigid approach to gear. He noted that while some changes yielded benefits, others led to losses against players outside the top 30 or 40. He stated that he has now established a solid foundation and intends to cease further equipment changes to focus on mental peace and game development.

Competing via a wild card at the Winston-Salem Open, Tsitsipas will receive a bye in the first round and begin his campaign in the second round. His potential early opponents include the winner of the match between Giovanni Becciu Pericar and Jenson Brooksby.
