Stegra uses diesel to power staff housing in Boden

Stegra has been utilizing diesel generators to provide heat, electricity, and household power to its staff housing at Moråsen in Boden. For nearly a year, the site has relied on four large generators connected to a 49 cubic meter diesel tank to support 712 apartments.

At maximum load, the generators consume over 12,000 liters of diesel per day. If the generators operate at an average of 75 percent capacity, the annual consumption is estimated to reach nearly 3,500,000 liters.
