Steiner and Muehlbacher win biathlon sprints at Austrian Summer Championships

In summer biathlon, Tamara Steiner and Fredrik Muehlbacher secured gold in the sprint events at the Austrian Summer Championships in Lohnsburg. Steiner achieved a perfect 10/10 shooting record, finishing with a time of 22:23.2 ahead of Lara Wagner and Kristina Oberthaler. In the men's sprint, Muehlbacher also recorded a perfect shooting score, narrowly defeating Lukas Haslinger by 4.2 seconds.

In Nordic combined, Richard Stenzel won the men's reserve jump at the Summer Grand Prix in Chaux-Neuve. The German athlete recorded a jump of 113.5 meters, placing ahead of Italy's Iacopo Bortolas and fellow German Julian Schmid. Local competitor Marco Heinis finished in fourth place.
