Steinhaus historic site requires emergency funds after storm damage

The Steinhaus (Casa de Pedra) in Igrejinha requires emergency resources following a severe storm on Monday. Strong winds caused significant damage to the historic building, including broken roof tiles and structural issues caused by debris from the neighboring CTG Sentinela da Tradição.

DHZ Construções and the cultural management team have begun preventive repairs to ensure the safety of the structure and allow the second stage of the restoration project to continue. The Association of Friends of Steinhaus is working to secure emergency funding to stabilize the building, which is the first listed heritage site in the municipality.
