Steinway Lyngdorf launches new Steinway & Sons Model O loudspeaker
Steinway Lyngdorf has released a new version of the Steinway & Sons Model O, the entry-level model in its floor-standing loudspeaker range. Designed for space-conscious environments, the slender speaker is engineered to be placed close to walls, utilizing a concealed passive rear bass unit to leverage room acoustics.
Compared to the original Model O introduced in 2018, the new model features two front-mounted midrange-bass drivers instead of one, an enlarged cabinet with 80% more internal volume, and a 50% larger passive bass radiator. High frequencies are handled by an Air Motion Transformer tweeter. Each unit is assembled and finished by hand in Skive, Denmark, and includes RoomPerfect calibration technology to optimize sound for specific room environments.
