Stellantis evaluates plant sale in Canada and production cuts in Argentina

Stellantis is facing significant operational shifts across its international manufacturing sites. In Canada, the company is considering the sale of its plant in Brampton, Ontario, following the impact of tariffs imposed by the United States administration. This potential sale affects approximately 2,200 workers. Additionally, the company has moved Jeep Compass production to a facility in Illinois, USA.

In Argentina, Stellantis is planning to reduce pickup truck production by more than 30% at its Ferreyra plant in Córdoba during the final four months of 2026. This adjustment affects the Fiat Titano and RAM Dakota models due to lower domestic and international demand. The revised production schedule aims for approximately 16,500 total units, a significant decrease from the original target of 27,000 units.
