Stellantis expands SUSTAINera remanufactured parts for electric and hybrid vehicles

Stellantis is expanding its SUSTAINera program globally, increasing its range of remanufactured parts specifically for electric and hybrid vehicles. The expanded lineup includes eDCT transmissions, electric compressors, and high-voltage batteries, as well as a new NOx sensor.

According to the company, these remanufactured components are restored to original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications and carry performance and warranties equivalent to MOPAR original parts. The initiative aims to support the circular economy, with Stellantis stating that the process can reduce raw material usage by up to 80% and CO2 emissions by up to 40% compared to producing new components.
