Stellantis Japan to introduce Ram 1500 Limited pickup truck

Stellantis Japan has announced the official introduction of the Ram 1500 Limited full-size pickup truck to the Japanese market. The announcement was made during the Stellantis All Brands Day Japan 2026 event held at Fuji Speedway.

Utilizing a certification system for American passenger vehicles established by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, the company plans to import an initial 100 units. While the preview featured the 2026 model, the actual market launch is scheduled for the 2027 model year.

The Ram 1500 Limited is powered by a 5.7-liter V8 HEMI engine producing 395 HP and 556 Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and a part-time 4WD system. The vehicle features a luxury-oriented interior with leather and wood accents, a 14.5-inch infotainment display, and advanced technology such as the RAM BOX storage system.
