Stellantis launches Smart Compact Van with flexible work‑space interior

Stellantis Pro One introduced the Smart Compact Van, a new light commercial vehicle aimed at professionals who spend most of their workday alone in the cabin. The van features a modular Flexiseat that folds flat to add up to 0.5 m³ of cargo space, an optional Modutable table that turns the seat into a mobile workstation, a removable Moduconsole, a Drivedrawer storage bin and a Dashbox integrated into the dash. The interior can also incorporate a third central seat when needed.

The model is offered under the Citroën Berlingo First, Peugeot Partner Active, Fiat Doblò EasyPRO and Opel Combo Start names. It is available with a multi‑energy powertrain portfolio that includes a 100 % electric version with up to 270 km of range, two diesel engines, a gasoline engine and a forthcoming mild‑hybrid variant. Load capacity ranges from 750 kg to 1 tonne, with cargo volume between 3.3 m³ and 4.4 m³. Stellantis aims to use the van to encourage fleet renewal among small and medium‑size enterprises.
