Stellantis partners with TuneIn for in-car audio integration

Stellantis has reached a global agreement with TuneIn, an audio streaming platform owned by the Canadian company Stingray, to integrate direct access to its services within vehicle infotainment systems.

The partnership will allow drivers of select future Stellantis models to access over 100,000 local, national, and international radio stations, as well as podcasts, news, and sports content, directly through the car’s dashboard. This integration aims to provide a seamless audio experience that does not require the use of a smartphone to stream content.

While the deal covers various brands under the Stellantis umbrella, specific vehicle models, participating brands, and financial terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.

Separately, Stellantis has joined ASE Connects as an Elite Partner and founding member of the OEM Advisory Council. This initiative, led by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, aims to address the technician shortage in the United States by connecting Stellantis dealers with local schools and automotive education programs.
