Stellantis ramps up CustomFit utility vehicle output at Atessa plant

Stellantis has produced more than 20,000 CustomFit utility vehicles at its Atessa factory in Italy, integrating bespoke bodywork and equipment directly into the production line. The Atessa site works together with Stellantis' Gliwice plant in Poland, creating a coordinated network for tailoring large vans to the specific needs of professional customers across Europe. The company says the integrated approach guarantees reliability and efficiency, delivering models ranging from simple cargo vans to versions with liftgates and spacious loading areas. By embedding the CustomFit Center into standard assembly, Stellantis aims to position itself as a leader in the growing European market for customized commercial vehicles.
