Stellantis reaches 1.5 million vehicles produced in Córdoba

Stellantis Argentina has reached a production milestone of 1,500,000 units at its Ferreyra industrial complex in Córdoba. The achievement follows nearly 30 years of operations in the region, beginning with an initial $600 million investment and the official opening of the plant in December 1996.

To support future growth, the company has committed $385 million in recent investments. This funding has enabled the production of the Fiat Titano and RAM Dakota models, while continuing the manufacturing of the Fiat Cronos. Additionally, the facility is preparing to launch a new engine production line for the Multijet 2.2 engine by 2027, which will serve both domestic and export markets.

Over the decades, the plant has undergone several major expansions, including $80 million in 2007 to increase capacity, $110 million in 2012 for new production platforms, and $500 million in 2017 to develop the Fiat Cronos.
