Stellantis Vigo hosts Family Day to celebrate Berlingo and Partner anniversary

More than 3,000 employees and their families attended the Family Day event at the Stellantis plant in Vigo, Spain. The celebration focused on the 30th anniversary of the Citroën Berlingo and Peugeot Partner commercial vehicles.

During the open house, visitors toured the stamping and assembly workshops, observing robotic installations in operation. The event featured an exhibition of three generations of these vehicles, along with the new Smart Compact Van models and customized vehicles from the Customfit workshop. Other highlights included a display of a Citroën Formula E racing car and various recent models from the group.

While the day included activities for children and vehicle tours, the CUT union criticized the event, describing it as a ‘whitewash’ and arguing that the family-oriented image projected by the company does not reflect the reality of working conditions or the need for better work-life balance.
