Stellar Resources finds high-grade tin at Heemskirk project

Stellar Resources has reported high-grade tin mineralization at its Heemskirk project in Tasmania, potentially linking the Severn and Montana resources into a single, larger deposit. Drilling at hole ZM194 intersected 3.9m at 0.82% tin (Sn) from 206.1m, which included a 2.1m interval at 1.40% Sn.

The new intersections were found at shallower depths and 150m north of the existing Severn resource, along the trend toward the Montana resource. Managing director Simon Taylor stated that this development increases confidence in the potential for the two areas to merge into a unified deposit.

Heemskirk currently holds a total mineral resource of 13.36Mt at 0.86% Sn. The company is conducting a prefeasibility study (PFS) to evaluate a standalone operation or the use of existing infrastructure, with a target completion date in the first half of 2027.
