Stellar tokenized assets approach $4 billion milestone
The Stellar network's real-world asset (RWA) market has approached $4 billion, marking a significant increase from approximately $868.8 million at the end of 2025. This growth represents a nearly 360% increase during 2026.
Key issuers driving this expansion include Spiko, which holds approximately $1.55 billion in assets on the network, followed by Realiz, Tradable, Franklin Templeton, and Ondo, each contributing over $500 million. The asset classes involved include government debt, money funds, and private credit.
While the tokenized asset base is expanding, the native XLM token has seen subdued price performance, trading near $0.18. Institutional activity remains a primary driver, with firms such as Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, and Citadel reportedly conducting blockchain trading tests. Additionally, the DTCC is expected to utilize DTC-tokenized assets on Stellar during the first half of 2027.
