Damian Ratajczak, playing for Falubaz in his first return to Leszno after leaving the club, contributed 9 points to the win. Ratajczak noted the emotional difficulty of competing against his former team and the reception from the crowd, stating that managing his mental state was crucial to his performance.

Following the loss, Unia Leszno captain Janusz Kołodziej described the result as a lesson to be learned before the play-off phase.
