Steph Curry signs $116 million extension with Golden State Warriors
Steph Curry has signed a two-year, $116 million contract extension with the Golden State Warriors, which includes a player option for the 2028-29 season. By accepting approximately $10 million less than his maximum eligible annual salary, Curry has provided the Warriors with greater financial flexibility to improve their roster in future seasons.
The extension pushes Curry’s career on-court earnings past $600 million, making him the highest-paid player in NBA history. Beyond the court, Curry has significantly expanded his business portfolio, including a reported 10-year, $400 million deal with the Chinese brand Li-Ning and a directorial debut scheduled for release on Netflix.
In addition to his professional and commercial ventures, Curry has remained active in philanthropy through the Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation and recently launched a keratoconus awareness campaign in Oakland.
