Stephanie Mobley sentenced to prison for $1.76 million Medicaid fraud

Stephanie Mobley, the 54-year-old former owner of ComfortZone Home Health Care LLC, has been sentenced to between 17 months and 10 years in state prison for her role in a $1.76 million Medicaid fraud scheme.

Between 2020 and 2023, Mobley and a group of 19 conspirators—including her daughter and CEO Naya Campbell—orchestrated a fraud operation involving kickbacks, the recruitment of clients to participate in the scheme, and the assignment of fictitious caregivers to clients for services that were never provided.

In addition to her prison sentence, Mobley was ordered to pay $1.76 million in restitution. The investigation, which lasted two years, was conducted by the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Medicaid Fraud Control Section and the FBI. Other defendants involved in the conspiracy, including office manager Barbara Thomas and Naya Campbell, have also received prison sentences.
