WWE Raw: Stephanie Vaquer medical status impacts main event
During the October 26 episode of WWE Raw in Fresno, California, scheduled plans for the women’s division were altered due to uncertainty regarding Stephanie Vaquer’s medical availability. Although Vaquer had previously announced she was cleared to compete following an ankle injury, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce informed the audience that she was not medically cleared for her scheduled No. 1 contender’s match against Becky Lynch.
As a result, the match was changed to a WWE Women’s World Championship bout between Becky Lynch and the current champion, Liv Morgan. Other notable results from the broadcast included Bayley defeating Lyra Valkyria in a No Disqualification match and IYO SKY defeating Raquel Rodriguez in a non-title bout.
In tag team action, Ethan Page and Big Cass defeated Chad Gable and Dragon Lee. Additionally, following a title defense by Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn against Je’Von Evans, Penta and Evans were officially granted a match against The Vision for the WWE World Tag Team Championships at the upcoming Crown Jewel event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
