Stephanie Vaquer wins WWE Women's World Title in Chile

Stephanie Vaquer regained the WWE Women’s World Championship by defeating Liv Morgan during a live event in Santiago, Chile, on September 12, 2026. The victory, which took place at a sold-out venue, marks Vaquer’s second reign with the title and is notable for being a championship change at a non-televised event, a rarity for the company.

Becky Lynch served as the special guest referee and played a decisive role in the match. After Liv Morgan executed her ‘Oblivion’ finisher, Lynch refused to complete the three-count, instead gesturing toward Morgan. This allowed Vaquer to recover and secure the win with her ‘Vaquer Inferno’ maneuver. Following the match, Lynch addressed the incident on social media, stating, “Don’t try to mess with Referee Rebecca.”

The event was part of WWE’s South America Live Tour. Other notable results from the Santiago show included Chad Gable successfully defending his Intercontinental Championship in a Fatal 4-Way match against Ethan Page, Penta, and Dragon Lee.
