Stephanie Vaquer wins WWE Women’s World Championship in Chile

Stephanie Vaquer made history by defeating Liv Morgan to win the WWE Women’s World Championship at the Santander Arena in Santiago, Chile. This marks the first time a title change has occurred during a live event in South America, and the first time a championship has changed hands in the region since 2017.

In conjunction with WWE’s South American tour, the company also conducted its 2026 Tryout in Chile to scout new talent. Peruvian wrestler Farid Vidal was the sole representative from Peru selected to participate in the evaluation process. The tryouts included medical assessments, in-ring performance, and camera work, overseen by WWE officials including Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque.
