Stephany Ortega's 'Mi vida en canciones' concert thrills audiences in Santo Domingo

Dominican soprano and Soberano Award winner Stephany Ortega, who lives in Luxembourg, presented her concert “Mi vida en canciones” at the Café Teatro Juan Lockward of the Teatro Nacional Eduardo Brito in Santo Domingo. The performance featured an intimate stage, a repertoire that blended classical arias with popular songs, and personal anecdotes that linked each piece.

Musical direction and piano were provided by Manuel Tejada, with Diego Payán on double bass and Gonzalo Frómeta on drums. The show opened on Friday night and returned for a second and final performance on Saturday, 1 August, receiving enthusiastic applause and a warm audience response.
