Stephen Bear jailed for breaching sex offenders register

Reality TV star Stephen Bear has been sentenced to 24 weeks in prison after pleading guilty to five counts of failing to comply with sex offenders’ register notification requirements.

According to Thames Magistrates’ Court, Bear failed to inform authorities of a trip to Brazil and did not report his return to the UK within the required three-day window. He also failed to disclose that he had acquired a new passport and two bank cards during his travels. The breach was discovered after Bear posted social media videos from a Brazilian beach, in which he allegedly taunted police by claiming they “can’t catch him.”

Bear was originally placed on the register following a 2023 conviction for sharing a private sex tape of his ex-girlfriend, Georgia Harrison, on OnlyFans. This recent sentence follows a separate 16-month prison term handed down last week for breaching a restraining order related to Harrison.
