Stephen Biebelhausen runs 4:17 mile pushing daughter in stroller
Stephen Biebelhausen, an emergency room doctor, completed the annual Guardian Mile ‘Stroller Mile’ in Cleveland, Ohio, with a time of 4 minutes and 17 seconds while pushing his daughter, Blake.
If the time is verified by Guinness World Records, Biebelhausen will break the existing record of 4 minutes and 26.29 seconds held by Silas Frantz. Biebelhausen ran the first half-mile in 2 minutes and 12 seconds and the second half in 2 minutes and 5 seconds.
Biebelhausen noted that the race was a way to spend quality time with his daughter, who remained in high spirits despite the event occurring past her bedtime.
