Actors Carina Lau and Cecilia Choi have shared insights regarding their involvement in Stephen Chow’s new film, “Kung Fu Women’s Football”.
Cecilia Choi, who portrays a visually impaired massage therapist named “Ma Ba,” discussed the physical challenges of the role, including injuries sustained during stunt work. She noted that Stephen Chow praised her martial arts performance, stating she fought most like Bruce Lee. Choi expressed deep respect for Chow’s directing style and his warm personality behind the scenes.
Carina Lau, who makes a cameo as a “Master” in the film, spoke about her long-standing friendship with Chow and her husband, Tony Leung.
