Stephen F. Austin athletics report volleyball loss and soccer win

Stephen F. Austin (SFA) athletics reported multiple results across volleyball and soccer. In volleyball, the Ladyjacks fell to the Texas State Bobcats in straight sets, 3-0 (22-25, 22-25, 19-25).

In women's soccer, SFA defeated Texas Southern 3-0 at Durley Field. Savanna Oberholtzer opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, followed by two goals from Lucie Platt, including a penalty kick early in the second half. Texas Southern goalkeeper Alicia Audu recorded seven saves during the match.

Looking ahead, the SFA soccer team is scheduled to face Jackson State on Sunday for Senior Day in Nacogdoches, following their matchup against Texas Southern.
